Accessibility and Availability

Neighborhood

We are located about 4 miles north of downtown near the 610n & 45n intersection. We are only about 2 miles from Heights neighborhood with plenty of great restaurants and things to do. Neighborhoods tend to have BBQ more than often and could have music playing later than expected. Also the neighborhood is not safe for walking your pet as there may be stray dogs at times. During holidays there are fireworks into the late hours. It is a blue collar neighborhood that some homes have been remodeled yet some still need some repairs. We just want to be transparent with you about the area.

Guest Access

The tiny home is on a lot next to our home. The lot with the Tiny House is fenced in and you have a cafe table outside to enjoy your morning coffee.

It was a great stay. The owners responded when we needed things and recommended some great restaurants. The tiny home was clean and everything they described was there just as the pictures. The washer and dryer are smaller so you have to make sure not to over stuff them and if you are staying for an extended amount of time they do a great job communicating whatever other needs might be for the house such as taking garbage out.

GREAT THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES After a botched birthday trip, fo my daughter, to the Caribbean, we went on the hunt for a unique experience close to home. Enter.....Tiny House Staycation!!!! From the first communication until we checked out, Veronica and Rene were excellent communicators and hosts. Even offering to take care of any special birthday needs to make our stay special. The Tiny House it beautiful. Small, cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. Despite the small size there was NOTHING missing. Anything you would find in an a standard size home, could be found in the Tiny House. From cleaning supplies to entertaining board games, recessed dimmer lighting, snacks and comfortable sitting areas, everything was well planned and well thought, to make for a comfortable stay. There is even a clicker for the gate. My daughter and I were teasing saying we were vacationing in a "gated community"!!! It made for a nice touch and gave a sense of security, even though the neighborhood was perfectly safe. There is an array of food places close by, so food was never a problem. We had excellent Pho at a place around the corner called Pho' Now, and good "Abuela in the kitchen" type Mexican food is abundant in the neighborhood. But if you don't want to eat out, Tiny House is fully stocked with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee pot, utensils, salt, pepper, sugar, cajun seasoning, and olive oil, so you can cook your own meals. I will end now, because I would be writing forever!! LOL A special thanks to these wonderful host. I highly recommend this place and I will return to show off this gem in the middle of my wonderful city of Houston!
